    Description

Give your puppy a gentle, healthy start with Happy Dog Sensible Puppy Lamb & Rice, an easily tolerated complete food that combines very well-tolerated lamb with easy-to-digest rice in a poultry-free, gluten-free recipe, making it especially suitable for little ones with sensitive stomachs while supplying the perfect ratio of fats and proteins for steady, healthy growth. From the very first weeks, it gives your four-legged friend everything they need for a care-free start to a long and healthy life.

A healthy, balanced diet matters right from the beginning, and this recipe is built around that. The combination of lamb and rice is naturally gentle and easy to digest, while the poultry-free, gluten-free formulation makes it a smart choice for sensitive stomachs. Valuable New Zealand mussel supports steady growth and the healthy development of bones, tendons, ligaments and joints, and the balanced ratio of fats and proteins gives your puppy exactly what they need.

Based on the Happy Dog Natural Life Concept®, Sensible Puppy Lamb & Rice supports your dog holistically. And our signature heart-shaped kibble with a hole in the middle makes every meal easier still: the hole helps the kibble break up faster for easier chewing, while the larger surface area lets the digestive juices break it down optimally for good digestion.

Sensible Puppy Lamb & Rice is ideal from 4 weeks through to 6 months. Once your puppy reaches 7 months, you can gradually switch to Happy Dog Sensible Junior Lamb & Rice, as growth slows during the young dog phase and their diet needs to be less substantial.

    Key features:

    • Easily tolerated complete food for puppies from 4 weeks to 6 months
    • Well-tolerated lamb with easy-to-digest rice
    • Poultry-free and gluten-free recipe, ideal for sensitive stomachs
    • No additives
    • New Zealand mussel to support growth and healthy bones, tendons, ligaments and joints
    • Heart-shaped kibble with a central hole for easier chewing and digestion
    • Based on the Happy Dog Natural Life Concept®

Recommended daily amount by age and expected adult weight.

Increase the amount gradually, every 2 to 3 days up to weekly, until you reach the amount for the next age group. Weigh your puppy regularly, avoid overfeeding, and reduce the amount if you give snacks. Feed dry or soaked briefly in warm water (about 60°C), split into 3 to 4 meals, and keep fresh drinking water available at all times.

From week 27, switch gradually to a suitable junior food.
