    Description

Give your puppy the perfect start with Happy Dog fit & vital Puppy, a balanced complete food that supports the intense growth of the first six months by combining proteins from five selected animal sources with a wealth of natural nutrients, from omega-rich linseed for a glossy coat to ginger and New Zealand mussel for a healthy immune system and developing joints. During your new family member's most important growth phase, it gives them everything they need to develop healthily.

Those first six months are when your puppy grows most intensively, so the right nutrients matter enormously. Each ingredient plays its part: linseed provides omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids that promote healthy skin and a glossy coat, ginger boosts the immune system, and both ginger and New Zealand mussel meat support your puppy's joints. Together they make fit & vital Puppy ideal for this crucial stage of life.

And then there is our signature heart-shaped kibble with a hole in the middle. That little hole helps your puppy break up the pieces faster and chew more easily, while the larger surface area allows the gastric juices to break the food down optimally, promoting good, healthy digestion right when your puppy needs it most.

Your puppy grows especially fast up to around 6 months, after which the young dog phase begins and growth slows. At that point you can gradually switch to a suitable food such as Happy Dog fit & vital Junior. Introduce it slowly by mixing increasing amounts of the new food with the old, so your dog's digestive system has time to adapt.

    Key features:

    • Balanced complete food for puppies in the first six months
    • Variety of proteins from poultry, fish, egg and more
    • Wheat-free recipe
    • Linseed for omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, supporting skin and coat
    • Ginger and New Zealand mussel to boost immunity and support joints
    • Heart-shaped kibble with a central hole for easier chewing and digestion

Recommended daily amount by age and expected adult weight.

Increase the amount gradually, every 2 to 3 days up to weekly, until you reach the amount for the next age group. Weigh your puppy regularly, avoid overfeeding, and reduce the amount if you give snacks. Feed dry or soaked briefly in warm water (about 60°C), split into 3 to 4 meals, and keep fresh drinking water available at all times.

From week 27, switch gradually to a suitable junior food.
